Marina Regulations
- All boat slips will be assigned by Dockmaster. Registration or Documentation must be available to the Dock attendant. Changing of slips is prohibited without approval of the Dockmaster.
- All fees are due and payable upon arrival.
- The dock known as "D-Land" will only be available for vessels 37' or greater.
- The Dockmaster may assign smaller boats into larger slips. However, upon availability of smaller slips, the Dockmaster has the authority to reassign the smaller boats.
- Any boat occupying a slip must pay a fee regardless of length of stay.
- Boats may leave the marina after payment of dockage fee and return to the same slip providing a line is placed across the front of the slip and the boat is returned by 10:00 AM the following day, or the slip will be considered vacated.
- Quiet hours must be observed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This includes no operation of generators, engines, or any other noise producing situations.
- Boaters are limited to fourteen consecutive nights with a 48-hour mandatory break between continuous stays during the peak season (June 26 - September 7).
- No dumping of any waste water (gray or black) in marina.
- No swimming, fishing, or crabbing in marina or channel.
- No fires or grills on tables, walkways, decks, docks, or boats. Charcoal and gas grills must be used in picnic areas only.
- Dinghies may be allowed to be tied in front of docked vessels only if they are capable of being immediately lifted onto the bow of that vessel.
- Dinghies are allowed to navigate in the marina for entering and exiting the marina ONLY. Any other use is prohibited.
- No docking is allowed in front of restricted and signed areas or emergency bulkhead. All regulatory signs must be obeyed.
- The designated fire lanes must remain open for emergency purposes.
- Bicycles and skateboards are prohibited on seashore walks, trails, and around the marina.
- There is a limit of one electrical outlet per boat.
- Tampering with the electrical outlets, panel boxes or wiring is a criminal offense. Anyone caught doing same will be federally cited and removed from the marina.
- Drinking alcohol and operating a boat do not mix. It is unsafe, and it is against the law.
- For your safety, wear shoes on the docks to prevent splinters.
- Jet skis are prohibited at Watch Hill, Sailors Haven and most waters of Fire Island National Seashore.
- Dog owners are responsible for their dog's actions. Dogs are required to be on leashes at all times.
- Nothing is allowed to be mounted on dock poles or walkways and decks including but not limited to tents, pools, satellite dishes, etc.
- To ensure the beauty of your parks, dispose of all garbage properly. We encourage you to follow the carry-in/carry-out program.
